| Leisure & culture: Books Apart from the list below, don't forget to visit the book stalls on the 'Cuesta de Moyano' (M-17), which is well known for its good prices on used books, and the book shops on the 'calle Libreros' (E-6), particularly at the beginning of school term when the shops on this street have an excellent selection of text books. If you happen to be in Madrid for the 'Feria del Libro' (book fair), be sure to visit the hundred of stall set up in the Parque del Retiro Other place to look are in the book section of El Corte Inglés, and VIPS , a shop that frequently has excellent sales on interesting end of print books. For art books, the major museums are a good place to look, particularly the Reina Sofía. |
