Despite its distance from the sea Madrid is justifiably renowned for the quality of its seafood, and an incredibly extensive range of fish is available in the city’s shops and restaurants. Unless you’re a big fish eater, however, the variety can be a bit daunting. The following is a guide to interpreting the menu.
